In April 2011, Jenni joined MS blogger Lisa Emrich to create a webinar for WEGO Health called "Navigating Your Health Narrative," attended by hundreds of people who asked all kinds of questions about living incredible lives in spite of illness. You can check out the recording here and follow along just like you were there! Follow-up comments were just incredible and will help shape future presentations.

Chicago's ABC 7 News Team, led by veteran reporter and disabilities advocate/expert Karen Meyer, profiled Jenni about her life with fibromyalgia recently. The experience has opened the eyes of many about how you truly can live awesomely in spite of illness! (April 7, 2011)

Speaking at SXSWinteractive 2011 was an incredible experience for Jenni, one she worked toward for much of 2010. Her presentation, Health Communities: Superheroes Who Need a Justice League, was a packed house and inspired some awesome conversation. She hopes to take this talk on the road and work with more organizations to build stronger, more engaged communities. (March 13, 2011)

Educational videos on fibromyalgia for HealthyWomen: Jenni has written and starred in five videos launched recently to promote healthy living with fibromyalgia. The videos cover ways to support a loved one; questions to ask your doctor before a diagnosis;  day-to-day healthy living tips; working well with chronic illness; and traveling like a pro in spite of pain. (Fall 2009 - Fall 2010)

Satellite Media Tour for the "She Said, He Said: Understanding Gender and Pain" campaign with HealthyWomen - As part of a large educational project about fibromyalgia and chronic pain, Jenni participated in a satellite media tour (SMT) for the She Said, He Said: Understanding Gender and Pain." In two days, she participated in more than 20 radio and TV interviews, from small town outlets to international media. You can learn more about the campaign at HealthyWomen's Chronic Pain Center.
